Being Steve Strong: September 2011

Welcome one and all...

I was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia in December of 2009. First, the doctors were waiting to see if it would go away on it's own. However, October of 2010 they started to get things underway for me to receive a bone marrow transplant.

My two sisters, Jenn and Rebecca were tested to see if they could donate to me. Jenn was a perfect match. So I will be getting her bone marrow stem cells. Hopefully very soon.

This is my journey. I would like to bring all of you along with me.
